Oppo has announced that it will be rolling out the Android-10 based ColorOS 7 in India. It will be rolled out to over 20 Oppo smartphones such as OPPO Reno 10X Zoom, the OPPO Reno 2, the OPPO F15, and the OPPO A5 2020.
The new ColorOS 7 has new icons and more customization options. It introduced the infinite design interface, as Oppo calls it. It was first announced by the company back in November 2019.

OPPO says that it’s also working on updating a bunch of other phones in two eventual rollouts.
The first rollout will begin in June and includes the OPPO F9, F9 Pro, F7, F7 128G, A5 2020, and A9 2020. The second rollout is in July will include the OPPO F15 and the OPPO R15 Pro.
About ColorOS 7
It is a custom-built Android 10-based operating system. It has a DocVault with the government-approved DigiLocker integration.
The localization of both ColorOS and ColorOS 7 is based on research on trends and patterns in consumer usage habits.
ColorOS 7 is faster and increases application response time by 30% with multiple apps running in the background, according to the company.
The new customised OS has adopted a lightweight visual approach that simplifies key elements, helping users focus more on the content.
There is a dark mode that makes reading on the smartphone a much more comfortable experience. It improves power efficiency as well.
