QUICK REVIEW: PHILOSOPHY HOT BUTTERED RUM
Philosophy Hot Buttered Rum ($16.00 for 16 oz.) Is a greasy aroma of caramel and sweet; it’s a little sweeter than butter pies but has the same sweetness of syrup without getting too eaten. It’s a very foody scent, but it has quickly become one of my favorite holiday scents from this year’s Philosophy.
Philosophy shower gels are one of my personal favorite shower gels, as they come in a variety of scents, with new scents each season. They foam well and leave the skin clean without stretching or dryness. I wouldn’t call this a moisturizing shower gel nor let their scent linger. If you prefer shower gel that leaves a lasting scent, then these won’t be for you, but if you like to enjoy the scent while bathing but don’t want it to stay longer then this is a perfect choice. (I’m the second type!) I don’t see them foaming well in the hair and they have a hair cleansing effect, but I prefer many shampoos other than this one. However, it also works as well as a bubble bath – a bit can also go a long way.
Welcome to Swatch-all-days! To start 2011 favorably (or maybe so!), Temptalia will handle the backlog products that we’ve photographed, edited, and often tested but in a slightly different way. Quick evaluations may not be partially incomplete, such as pink cheeks that may be dotted only on the arm and not on the face. We hope that what we can offer is still useful!
